Feb 12th

Decided I need to start doing my jillian cardio video again. I saw great results when I did, and I am missing those results. SO with that said, jillian cardio, and I only got in 3.17 miles these shin splints are killing me!!!

jillian level 3 ran 4.2 on the tm.

Monthly Goal report. Haven't been eating that well, Havent gained any weight but I am not seeing the results I was before. Only lost .25 inches and 1 lb this month. so going to have to crack down

monday feb 8th

Ran a good 4.16 on the tm was going for 6, but my lovely children woke up!!! So had to cut is short. But I tell ya something about having a fan in front of the tm makes it easier to run. I am a real sweater, so that fan make ME feel like I can run forever, could have easily got another 2 miles. Must be making progress huh? Then I got the kiddos breakfast, and did Jillian shred level 3. Still looking for a close 10k on a sat. If anyone knows of one let me know!!!

PS I think the shin splints are starting to disappear. So glad I trained through them!!!

Saturday Feb 6th

Today I had a great run!!! I started with jillian trouble zones, and then I got a very rare treat. I got to run on the trail with no stroller full of kids!!! Woohoo!!! No stroller to push, I even got told by a couple of runners that I had a fast pace and they were impressed. I guess all of that stroller pushing really helps. Anyways I ran 7 miles. I forgot to check and see what time I left, but I think it took about an hour. Not bad. I think I see a 10k in the near future. Looking for one close by, was going to do the orting foothills race but it is on the same day as the hope for little hearts auction. Dang it!!! Oh well I will figure soemthing out. I am now only 20 miles behind where I should be to be caught up to the tall mom chalenge!!! Speaking of Tall Mom saw her and a old friend from high school on the trail, that was nice!!! Hope to see you guys again!!

Friday Feb 5th

Well didn't have much time for working out today between doc appointments and such. But I got it in because I CAN!!! Got 4.32 miles and jillian trouble zones.

So that is a total of 68.04
miles out of 1000!!!

Missed one day this week, but will do better next week. Monthly goal report to come on the 10th!!

Thurs Feb 4th

DId not want to work out today. Then I watched these videos. Um How can I say no after this. Just a little inspiration for your day.

Here they are competing. How could I not workout after seeing this? If this man can swim pulling his grown son in a lifeboat, i can run.

Anyways So needless to say after watching this I did jillian trouble zones. I felt like I could run a million miles on the treadmill, but mommy duty called. so I only got in 4.32. I have a new sense of "can". Now there is no I don't know if I can, just of course I can.

Wed Feb 3rd

So for those of you who have horses, (which I don't think is any of my followers) roundpenning a green 2 year old colt is quite the workout. He was pulling on that lunge rope the entire time. Anyways Long story short. Wore my pedometer out there I was running in circles for 25 minutes and got in .42 miles. Not bad. Except I think I pinched a nerve in my shoulder. So I woke up in time to work out this morning, but didn't because my shoulder hurt so bad. But later in the afternoon I knew I had to do it. All I could think of was jillian saying "remember you have no idea what you can do until you try." So I did Jillian Trouble Zones and ran on the treadmill got 5.16 miles. It was def hard, with the shoulder and shin splints but gonna try some stretches today to make them go away. I need to get some pics on here!!! Anyways tata for now.

Sat jan 30th

Jillian 30 day shred level 3. Man that is hard with shin splints. Any advice on shin splints would be great!!!! got in 4.2 miles on the tm didn't have much time the kiddos were waking up!!! off!!! Woohoo!!! Going to start posting total for 1000 with tall mom at the bottom of each post. Easier to keep track that way!!!

Friday Jan 29th

Did Jillian shred level 3, got in some miles on the treadmill. We ate sonic for lunch today big mistake. I got in 5 gutwrenching miles on the tm. It took forever!!!! I now remember why I do not....okay lets be real should not do fast food!!! Ugh!!!!

thurs jan 28th

Did jillian 30 day shred. Just a side note tonight the kids did it with me, we were doing plea (is that how its spelled?) jumps in a sumo squat and Brody says "hey mom this is kind of like sitting on the toilet right?" HAHA Made working out worth it. Logan was a huge help tonight he took care of the kiddos so I could run on the treadmill. I was thinking great I will be so behind on miles I'm only going to be able to get a couple in. But he did such a good job I got in 5.22 miles woohoo!!!! Thanks Logan!!!!

Wednesday jan 27th

Did jillian 30 day shred, then we went to the park in south prairie. They have a small track around it. 18 laps = 4.27 miles (according to my cheapo pedometer, but who knows how far it really is one lap was .22 miles and the next was .28 so who knows. but it is all I have to go off of. ). Its great because my kids think I am the greatest ever because there is a park at it and they play on the toys and I run and I can see them the entire time. I do have to say I hate track running though, so boring counting laps.

Mon Jan 25th

Did my jillian shred level 3. I absolutely love, love, love level 3. It so energizing!!! After some calculations I realized at the end of last week I am 40 miles behind on my 1000 miles by the end of the year. Granted I started 2 weeks late but....yipes!!! So with that said I woke up this morning and decided to hit the trail, but jake was at work so I had to tote along Cammie Jean and Rafe. Well I tried to let rafe ride his bike, but he was just to slow, and kept saying his legs were tired.....after the first 300 feet. so we left the bike on the side of the trail and I was bound and determined to make it to the safeway in town, and get in some miles today. But instead Cammie Jean was screaming her head off by the time we reached the bridge. So we kept on trucking to schoenbachler hay, but she was still screaming so we had to turn around. Still screamin on the way back so we stopped at the bridge and I held her for awhile, let her walk around for awhile, held her hands......and yes I am that mom, I forgot her gloves. No wonder she was screaming, I mean with how fast I run and the wind just whipping her hands, I am surprised they are not wind chapped. (LOL. HAHAHAA) So long story short only got in a 5 mile joy run with a break in the middle. Not exactley what I was going for. But then again, I am a mom, and sometimes my workouts are all about them instead of me. That is just going to have to be ok for now. I guess it's my time and season for mommy workouts. All too soon those days will be gone and I will be aching to be pushing that stroller with the sounds of "look mommy a jet!!!" or "look at the river!!!"

Did Jillian this morning!!!! Have yet to run today, oh yeah forgot to post my 3 mile yesterday in about 28 minutes. Pushing a stroller. Yes I am bragging, per the instruction on Tall Mom. HAHA

Thurs Jan 21st

Did my Jillian with my kids this morning all of which woke up at 6:20. We did level 3 and I have to say it was awesome. It is moments like that, where being a mom is fun. Watching them trying to do traveling push ups and plank rows with leg raises was awesome. Oh and and the jumping lunges was hillarious too. Needless to say after yesterdays experience with them all awake I didn't dare try the treadmill. Running may have to wait until the hubby gets home tonight. But what a great start to a day. I love my kiddos. Wish I had video of their workout to post. It was funny.

Wed Jan 20th

Did jillian level 3 again, but I didn't wake up early enough to do it first thing in the morning, so I did it in the afternoon while my 3 yr old was awake. Big mistake he played on our squat rack I didn't know he was and all the sudden I heard a scream and went to see what was wrong. Apparently he was hanging on the pull up bar, lost his grip and slid down the weight bench, but the pin was sticking out a little and he got the meatiest looking cut. So off to the ER. I litterally will being paying for that workout for awhile. So no running today.

Tues Jan 19th

I am in love with Jillian 30 day shred level 3!!! Did it again today, and ran on the treadmill. I was a little short on time so I only got 2.5 miles in, but hey I still ran!!!

Monday Jan 18th

Did jillian 30 day shred level 3 wish I would have moved up so much sooner!!! Also ran on the orting trail from my house to the bridge and back, about 4 miles. It was more of a joy jog with logan riding his bike. Definately didn't break any records, but we didn't stop!!!

Progress since oct 2009

Well I took a bit of a break over Christmas!!! Bad Idea, gained 2lbs over Christmas!!! results not as good as before, but here they are none the less. Since October I have lost

and 8.5 inches total.

I have at least another 30 lbs to go, but I am trying to not go off of just lbs. That is why I am tracking inches also. This is a little hard for me to put out there, but I will. When I started I was a uncomfotable size 14. Now I am a almost comfortable 12. So with that said here are my fitness goals for 2010.

loose 30 lbs
be a comfortable size 8 by dec 2010
run a 10k
also going to join tall mom on the runs challenge to run 1000 miles in 2010. (Check out her blog her story is so inspiring!!!)

Going to post weight loss and inches lost achievements once a month. All other goals I wil give a update on fridays. (Which is another resolution to stay caught up on blogging!!!)
